...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 315 PM CDT FOR
EAST CENTRAL PORTAGE AND SOUTHWESTERN WAUPACA COUNTIES...

At 246 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Amherst, or 9
miles northwest of Waupaca, moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

This severe thunderstorm will be near...
  Amherst around 250 PM CDT. Waupaca around 305 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by the severe thunderstorm include Sheridan,
Amherst Junction, Nelsonville, Scandinavia, Iola and Ogdensburg.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.

Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Seek shelter
immediately in an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built
structure.
