...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN FOREST...EASTERN
VILAS AND NORTHEASTERN ONEIDA COUNTIES THROUGH 200 AM CDT...

At 127 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Rainbow Flowage, or 15 miles northwest of Rhinelander, moving
northeast at 60 mph.

HAZARD...Penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Rhinelander, Eagle River, Phelps, Kentuck Lake Campground, Johnson
Lake Barrens Natural Area, Crystal Lake Scout Reservation, Rainbow
Flowage, Minocqua, Arbor Vitae, and Three Lakes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

Persons in campgrounds should consider seeking sturdy shelter until
this storm passes.
