...A SPECIAL MARINE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 230 PM EDT...

For the following areas...
  Nearshore and Open Waters from St Joseph to Grand Haven MI...

At 131 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 21 nm west of Saugatuck Pier Heads to 11 nm west of
South Haven Light to 10 nm northeast of St. Joseph Light, moving
northeast at 45 knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts in excess of 50 knots.

SOURCE...Weather Station. At 125 pm Benton Harbor Airport reported 
         63 mph winds.

IMPACT...Boats could suffer significant structural damage in high 
         winds. Small craft could capsize in suddenly higher waves.

Locations impacted include...
Saugatuck Pier Heads, South Haven Light, St. Joseph Light, Port
Sheldon Harbor, Grand Haven Light, Holland Light, and St. Joseph.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until these storms pass.
Wind gusts in excess of 50 knots, high waves, dangerous lightning,
and heavy rain are possible with these storms.
