  Nearshore and Open Waters from St Joseph to Grand Haven MI...

* Until 230 PM EDT.

* At 1230 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located over Lake 
  Michigan along a line extending from near Evanston Illinois to 
  near Ogden Dunes Indiana, moving northeast at 45 knots.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts in excess of 50 knots.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Boats could suffer significant structural damage in high 
           winds. Small craft could capsize in suddenly higher 
           waves.

* Locations impacted include...
  St. Joseph Light, South Haven Light, Saugatuck Pier Heads, Holland 
  Light, Port Sheldon Harbor, and Grand Haven Light.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
