...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN MCDOWELL AND
NORTHWESTERN BURKE COUNTIES THROUGH 1015 PM EDT...

At 932 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10
miles southeast of Spruce Pine, or 5 miles west of Table Rock, moving
east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Table Rock, Ashford, and North Cove.
