...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN GREENVILLE AND
NORTHEASTERN PICKENS COUNTIES THROUGH 345 PM EDT...

At 311 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 14
miles northeast of Pickens, or near Slater-Marietta, moving east at
20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Taylors, Travelers Rest, Slater-Marietta, Paris Mountain State Park,
Tigerville, Lake Robinson, Pleasant Ridge State Park, Jones Gap State
Park, Furman University, and Greer.
