...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTH CENTRAL MCDOWELL AND
CENTRAL RUTHERFORD COUNTIES THROUGH 1000 PM EDT...

At 911 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Rutherfordton, moving northeast at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Rutherfordton, Forest City, Spindale, Shingle Hollow, Green Hill,
Thermal City, Sunshine, Fero, Union Mills, and Sugar Hill.
