Waters from Freeport to Matagorda Ship Channel TX from 20 to 60 NM...

At 613 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing waterspouts
were located along a line extending from 11 nm northwest of Surfside
Jetty to 9 nm south of Galveston 344 to near Galveston A171, moving
east at 40 knots.

HAZARD...Waterspouts, wind gusts to nearly 50 knots, and small hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally 
         hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly 
         higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

Galveston A122, Brazos 400, Brazos A4, Galveston A196, Brazos 469,
Galveston A250, Brazos 548, Brazos A70, Galveston A171, Galveston
344, Brazos A85, Buoy 42019, Brazos A26, Brazos B133, Brazos A110,
and East Breaks 228.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor immediately as gusty winds and high waves are
expected.
