* Special Marine Warning for...
  Coastal waters from Freeport to Matagorda Ship Channel TX out 20

  Waters from Freeport to Matagorda Ship Channel TX from 20 to 60
  NM...

* Until 515 AM CDT.

* At 408 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing
  waterspouts were located along a line extending from 12 nm west of
  Port Lavaca to 7 nm southeast of Seadrift to 24 nm east of
  Rockport, moving east at 45 knots.

  HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts to nearly 50 knots.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally 
           hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly 
           higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include...
  Tabs Buoy W, Matagorda Island 607, Matagorda Ship Channel, Turtle
  Bay, Brazos A70, Brazos B133, Brazos 490, Matagorda Island 557,
  Port Lavaca, Matagorda Jetty, and Palacios Bay.

Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.

Thunderstorms can produce sudden waterspouts. Waterspouts can easily
overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Seek safe harbor
immediately.
