.DISCUSSION...
Clear, dry conditions will continue through the end of the week 
and into the weekend as a blocking pattern setting up over central 
California. Summer-like relative humidity values are expected due 
to strong easterly that will continue through Friday, especially 
for the Sierra Nevada and Kern County mountains. Low minimum RH 
values between 15 and 20 percent with poor to moderate overnight 
recoveries will create elevated to critical fire weather 
conditions, allowing new fire development to spread rapidly and 
prolong the burning period well into the overnight hours. Winds 
will gradually subside through the weekend, becoming more diurnal.
Humidities will gradually improve and temperatures cool after the
weekend as a more robust system tracks into the region.
