...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT MARSHALL...WEST CENTRAL
JACKSON...SOUTHEASTERN MADISON...NORTHEASTERN CULLMAN AND EAST
CENTRAL MORGAN COUNTIES THROUGH 345 PM CDT...

At 305 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Morgan City, or 11 miles north of Arab, moving east at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Albertville, Boaz, Guntersville, Arab, Owens Cross Roads, Grant,
Woodville, Morgan City, Douglas, and Paint Rock.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
