Afternoon temperatures were in the upper 80s to low 90s with light southeast winds. Much of the region will remain dry tonight with only some scattered showers and storms affecting western sections of Nebraska. Surface high pressure will remain over the Great Lakes region with light south winds tonight. Overnight lows will range from the low 60s in the Nebraska panhandle, to the mid 70s in central Oklahoma. On Wednesday, surface low pressure will deepen over eastern Colorado with winds switching to a southerly direction. Warm and humid conditions expected again with daytime highs ranging from the upper 80s in northern Nebraska, to the low 100s in western sections of Kansas and Oklahoma. $$
