Large hail, damaging winds, and very heavy rainfall were the primary hazards. Predawn temperatures ranged from 50s and 60s over the northern half of Kansas, to 70s over southern Kansas. Another strong storm system approaching from the west will spawn additional scattered to numerous thunderstorms across the region this afternoon through tonight. Severe weather is likely, capable of large hail, damaging winds, heavy rainfall, and a few tornadoes. Forecast high temperatures range from 50s over northwest Kansas, to 80s and 90s over generally the southeast half of Kansas. Thunderstorms will continue their march southeast across the state tonight, exiting far southeast Kansas by the early morning hours. Forecast lows ranged from chilly 30s over western Kansas, to 60s over far southeast Kansas. $$
