...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN PENDER COUNTY
THROUGH 830 PM EDT...

At 743 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Woodside, or 8 miles west of Surf City. This thunderstorm was nearly
stationary.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Surf City, Topsail Beach, Topsail, Ashton, Woodside, and Edgecomb.

This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 403 and 407.
