Increased precipitation chances into this evening and also added patchy fog in for overnight. && .KEY MESSAGES... 1) Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will be possible into this evening across parts of the area. 2) Dry and cool to start the week on Monday, Thunderstorm chances return for Wednesday night into Thursday. && .DISCUSSION... KEY MESSAGE 1) An upper level disturbance will move across the area through this evening allowing for scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. This will be focused initially north of I-70 and then chances will shift into central portions of the forecast area. Dry conditions are expected south of the Ohio River. Due to low freezing level, cannot rule out small hail with a few of the storms. Severe weather is not expected. After precipitation moves out overnight there will be the potential for some patchy fog later in the overnight hours. KEY MESSAGE 2) Cool and dry conditions are expected for Monday with just some cu. Cannot rule out a sprinkle in central Ohio, however probability was too low to mention. Continued dry conditions are expected through the day on Wednesday. Temperatures on Monday are expected to be in the 70s for highs in most locations. On Tuesday a few highs near and south of the Ohio River will rise into the 80s, elsewhere expect 70s again for highs. Low temperatures in the 50s are generally expected at night Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday nights. Shower and thunderstorm chances return to the forecast for Wednesday night into Thursday as a system moves through during that time. && .AVIATION /18Z SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY/... VFR cu will be present into this evening and then again on Monday. An upper level disturbance will lead to isolated to scattered showers with some thunderstorms as well. Have tempo showers in at KDAY, KCMH, KLCK, and KILN. Left out thunder mention at this time due to lower probability. Winds will be around 10 knots today. Overnight winds decrease and skies clear out. Will see the potential for some fog at KLUK and KILN. Winds will start to pick up again for Monday, however they are expected to remain around 10 knots or less.
