...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana...

  Youngs Creek at Amity.

  Eel River at Bowling Green.

.Rainfall amounts of two to nearly four inches over much of central 
and southern Indiana yesterday has brought minor flooding to Youngs 
Creek at Amity and the Eel River at Bowling Green. These sites are 
forecast to go back below flood stage tonight however additional 
rainfall is expected this afternoon and overnight that could bring 
flooding back. Please stay tuned to the the latest updates and 
forecast for your area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive 
cars through flooded areas.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL TOMORROW MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Youngs Creek at Amity.

* WHEN...Until tomorrow morning.

* IMPACTS...At 7.0 feet, Youngs Creek at flood stage.  Most low 
  areas along creek are flooded.   Approaches to CR 400S bridge over 
  Youngs Creek begin to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 12:15 PM EDT Tuesday the stage was 7.8 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 12:15 PM EDT Tuesday was 8.1 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 7.8
    feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just
    after midnight tonight.
  - Flood stage is 7.0 feet.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Eel River at Bowling Green.

* WHEN...Until late tonight.

* IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, Flood water covers considerable 
  bottomlands and floods a few county roads including the 
  Poland-Bowling Green Road.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 11:30 AM EDT Tuesday the stage was 16.6 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 11:30 AM EDT Tuesday was 16.6 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    late this afternoon and continue falling and remain below
    flood stage.
  - Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
