Through 6 pm, a cluster of strong showers and thunderstorms will move
northwestward at 15 knots, into the distant Florida Straits south of
the Dry Tortugas. This activity will produce wind gusts near 30
knots, bouts of lightning, and blinding downpours. Elsewhere, widely
scattered showers will be found primarily on the nearshore waters
from the Lower Keys to the Dry Tortugas.
