This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and north 
central Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Isolated to widely scattered thunderstorms are possible late this
afternoon and evening with isolated strong to severe storms 
possible. Damaging wind gusts are the primary concern with large hail
and frequent lightning secondary concerns.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Scattered thunderstorms are likely late Wednesday afternoon into the
evening. Damaging winds are again the primary concern with large
hail and heavy rainfall secondary concerns.

Additional thunderstorms are likely Thursday and possible on Friday.
Strong to severe thunderstorms are possible each day with a potential
for heavy rainfall across western and north central Nebraska on
Thursday. 

Confidence continues to increase regarding a long duration
heat wave early next week. Daily high temperatures in the upper 90s 
to low 100s appear probable with heat indices approaching triple 
digits. Folks sensitive to excessive heat should continue to monitor 
later forecasts for additional details.
