NORTHEASTERN LIVINGSTON AND NORTHERN TANGIPAHOA PARISHES THROUGH 400

...

At 321 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Montpelier to 7 miles northwest of Albany.
Movement was northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Greensburg, Amite, Amite City, Kentwood, Independence, Roseland,
Montpelier, Easleyville, Wilmer, and Tangipahoa.

This includes the following Interstates...
 Interstate 12 near mile marker 28.
 Interstate 55 in Louisiana between mile markers 39 and 63.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
