...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM PDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Lamoille Canyon Recreation Area in Southern Elko County in
  northeastern Nevada...

* WHEN...Until 800 PM PDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 455 PM PDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.3 and 0.7 inches of rain
    have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.2 to 0.4 inches are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Lamoille Canyon, including Forest Service Road 660.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
