FOR NORTHWESTERN CLINTON...SOUTHWESTERN RUSSELL...CUMBERLAND...
SOUTHEASTERN METCALFE AND SOUTHWESTERN ADAIR COUNTIES...

At 438 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Edmonton,
moving southeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable 
         tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, 
         roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Burkesville, Leslie, Desda, Cundiff, Modoc, Ellington, Grider, Aaron,
Ribbon, and Willis Creek.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.
