.DISCUSSION...
Very windy conditions are expected at the fire location overnight 
into Friday. Winds will continue to increase this evening, peaking 
between around 0100 hours and 0800 hours. However, there is the 
potential for a burst of very strong downsloping winds between 
around midnight hours and 0400 hours, affecting the lower elevations
close to the ocean with gusts to 65 knots from the northeast 
possible. The models show winds shifting to the east in the 
afternoon hours, and decreasing as that direction is less favorable 
for stronger winds. There is a low possibility of winds becoming 
south to southeast late in the afternoon (10-20%) but most likely 
the offshore winds will continue. Warmer and slightly drier 
conditions are expected Friday, with VERY poor overnight humidity 
recoveries.
