Light to moderate southerly winds will prevail the next couple of days. Winds should start off early Thursday morning from the southwest before shifting to the southeast later in the afternoon. Hot temperatures continue with highs in the 90s on the Caprock to triple digits off the Caprock expected through Saturday. Thunderstorm chances return to the far southern Texas Panhandle and possibly northern South Plains both Thursday and Friday evening. The main hazard expected with those storms are gusty winds and outflows. Minimum RH values remain around 20 to 25 percent the next couple of days.
