Relatively strong north winds will continue through most of Friday, then begin weakening by Friday evening. Sustained speeds of 15 to 25 mph are likely through much of the day with some gusts near 40 mph possible mainly over the SW TX Panhandle. A drier airmass will also settle over the region with minimum RH values of 25 to 30 percent on Friday afternoon.
