Here is a look at the weather features that will affect the region 
over the next several days.

A cold front approaching from the Ohio River Valley will cross the 
Mid-Atlantic through this evening. This will bring showers and a
few gusty thunderstorms.

High pressure and much cooler temperatures will build in from the
central U.S. for the weekend.

High pressure will linger early next week as low pressure 
develops and meanders off the Carolina coast.
