...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT EDT
FOR NORTHWESTERN ST. MARYS...WEST CENTRAL CALVERT...SOUTHEASTERN
PRINCE GEORGES AND NORTHEASTERN CHARLES COUNTIES...

At 1150 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Waldorf to 6 miles northwest of Hallowing Point
to near Sheridan Point, moving northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Damaging winds will cause some trees and large branches to 
         fall. This could injure those outdoors, as well as damage 
         homes and vehicles. Roadways may become blocked by downed 
         trees. Localized power outages are possible. Unsecured 
         light objects may become projectiles.

Locations impacted include...
Waldorf, La Plata, Prince Frederick, Hallowing Point, Sheridan Point,
Golden Beach, Saint Charles, Accokeek, Brandywine, Huntingtown,
Hughesville, Baden, Mechanicsville, Charlotte Hall, Aquasco,
Bryantown, Pomfret, Benedict, Eagle Harbor, and Lower Marlboro.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

To report severe weather contact your nearest law enforcement agency.

Sterling Virginia.
