Critical to extreme fire weather conditions are expected across southeast New Mexico and adjacent portions of West Texas this afternoon. ERCs remain between the 70th to 90th+ percentile with winds expected gust up to 40+ mph during the afternoon and into this evening. Min RHs will be critical low (single digits) as temperatures reach into the 90s. Tuesday sees similar conditions with above normal temperatures and critically low RHs, but winds will be much lighter.
