...A SPECIAL MARINE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 415 PM EDT...

For the following areas...
Lake Okeechobee...

At 336 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing waterspouts
were located along a line extending from 6 nm west of Buckhead Ridge
to near Calusa, moving northeast at 15 knots.

HAZARD...Waterspouts, wind gusts in excess of 50 knots, and small 
         hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally 
         hazardous seas. Boats could suffer significant structural 
         damage in high winds. Small craft could capsize in suddenly 
         higher waves.

Locations impacted include...
Calusa, Liberty Point, Buckhead Ridge, Moore Haven, and Clewiston.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until these storms pass.
Wind gusts in excess of 50 knots, small hail, high waves, dangerous
lightning, and heavy rain are possible with these storms.

Thunderstorms can produce sudden waterspouts. Waterspouts can easily
overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Seek safe harbor
immediately.
