...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of northeastern Palm
Beach County through 615 PM EDT...

At 524 PM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists were tracking
a strong thunderstorm capable of producing a funnel cloud over Palm
Beach Gardens, moving northeast at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Funnel clouds, wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph, and pea size 
         hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Funnel clouds occasionally touch down and produce tornadoes 
         or waterspouts. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and 
         blow around unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
West Palm Beach, Jupiter, Palm Beach Gardens, Riviera Beach,
Tequesta, Juno Beach, North Palm Beach, Lake Park, North County
Airport, Juno Ridge, Philo Farms, Fau North Campus, Limestone Creek,
Caloosa, and Jupiter Farms.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

Persons participating in outdoor activities should seek sturdy
shelter until this storm passes. Open shelters found in parks,
beaches, or golf courses offer no protection from the dangers of
lightning.
