* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Eastern Pitt County in eastern North Carolina...
  West central Beaufort County in eastern North Carolina...

* Until 645 PM EDT.

* At 543 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over House, or
  near Greenville, moving southeast at 15 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage 
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Greenville, Washington, Winterville, Stokes, House, Pactolus, Black
  Jack, East Carolina University, Pitt Greenville Airport, Dowdy
  Ficklen Stadium, Grimesland, and Simpson.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

Prepare immediately for large hail and damaging winds. People outside
should move immediately to shelter inside a strong building. Stay
away from windows.
