* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Central Craven County in eastern North Carolina...
  South central Beaufort County in eastern North Carolina...
  Southwestern Pamlico County in eastern North Carolina...

* Until 700 PM EDT.

* At 615 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Olympia, or 8
  miles north of New Bern, moving southeast at 20 mph.

  HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 70 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail 
           damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect 
           considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to 
           mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include...
  New Bern, James City, Olympia, Janeiro, Grantsboro, Croatan,
  Riverdale, Neuse Forest, Fairfield Harbour, Coastal Carolina
  Regional Airport, Arapahoe, Bridgeton, and Minnesott Beach.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
