At 551 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Bettie, or near Harkers Island, moving southeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Morehead City, Harkers Island, Sealevel, Marshallberg, Davis,
Straits, Smyrna, Otway, Williston, Open Grounds Farm, Stacy, Oceana
Pier, Cape Lookout Lighthouse, Rachel Carson Estuarine Reserve, Fort
Macon State Park, and Gloucester.
