Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum. .SYNOPSIS... A 29.9 inch trough is analyzed over the lake tonight, extending from low pressure currently moving into Quebec. Weak high pressure then builds to 30.0 inches over Lake Superior and northern Ontario Thursday and Friday. Saturday, the high builds to 30.1 inches as it shifts toward southern Ontario. The high continues to shift south Sunday, reaching the Lower Great Lakes at 30.2 inches before weakening to 30.1 inches again Monday south of the Great Lakes. Another strong low of 29.3 inches looks to cross into Hudson Bay early next week.
