  Lake Superior from Grand Marais MI to Whitefish Point MI 5NM off 
  shore to the US/Canadian border...
  Munising to Grand Marais MI...

At 554 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable 
of producing winds up to around 30 knots and small hail. These 
thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 23 nm south 
of The Eastern Lake Superior Buoy to 16 nm southeast of Miners 
Castle, moving northeast at 40 knots.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners could see gusty winds up to around 30 knots, locally higher 
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor 
immediately until these storms pass.

Intense lightning is occurring with these storms. If caught on the
open water stay below deck if possible, keep away from ungrounded
metal objects.
