...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN COCKE AND
SOUTHWESTERN GREENE COUNTIES THROUGH 1115 PM EDT...

At 1040 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Parrottsville, or 11 miles east of Newport, moving southeast at 30
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Parrottsville, Caney Branch, Del Rio, and Cedar Creek.
