.DISCUSSION...A weak ridge over the region today is causing the
start of a mild warming and drying trend. Even with that, humidity
at the burn site is not expected to drop below 30 percent today.
A cold air mass over the region will combine with the intense late
May sun angle to cause afternoon clouds and showers. Due to the
ridge building over the area, we expect minimal impacts from the
showers with low chances of a direct hit from a shower and even if
one does hit the burn site this afternoon rain amounts will be
minimal.
