The strongest winds will be across the higher elevations of the Bay Area and the Santa Cruz Mountains where gusts between 50 to 60 mph are possible. More widespread gusts between 25 to 35 mph are expected across the lower elevations and interior Central Coast through the morning. Winds ease into Monday evening with a return to locally breezy conditions along the coast and across mountain gaps and passes. Wind direction fluctuates between onshore and offshore for much of the week before predominantly onshore winds return late week. Poor daytime humidity retention between 15-20% continues across the interior and higher terrain with limited overnight recoveries through mid to late week.
