weekend. Fuels are expected to dry out rapidly  as a result of
warmer and drier weather. Fire weather concerns  increase late this
weekend into early next week as a monsoonal  moisture surge brings
some potential for high based convection to  the region. Any
thunderstorms that develop may result in dry  lightning and gusty,
erratic outflow winds. The current pattern  looks conducive for dry
lightning but this may change as the event gets closer in time. Make

Warm and dry conditions continue this week. High  temperatures range
from the high 80s to the high 90s while  afternoon RHs range from
the 20s to 30s. Overnight recoveries  continue to be moderate to
good, with poorer recoveries at the  highest elevations. Winds
remain generally light and terrain  driven early this week, with
moderate westerly afternoon breezes  likely mid to late week.
