For the eastern and central North Pacific east of 180 longitude:

Active Systems:
The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Hurricane 
Trudy, located a couple hundred miles southwest of Acapulco, Mexico, 
and has issued the final advisory on the remnants of Simon, located 
about one hundred miles southwest of the southern tip of the Baja 
California Peninsula.

South of Southern Mexico:
An area of low pressure is forecast to form offshore of southern 
Mexico during the early to middle part of next week. Environmental 
conditions appear conducive for gradual development thereafter, and 
a tropical depression is likely to form during the latter half of 
next week while it moves generally westward to west-northwestward 
over the eastern and central portions of the East Pacific.
