.DISCUSSION...

Critical fire weather conditions are expected today due to low 
relative humidities and gusty winds. Winds will be from the 
northwest this morning before shifting to the west with a cold 
front passage around 1100-1200 hours. Winds will increase through 
the afternoon, peaking between 1800-2000 hours before shifting 
back to the northwest and gradually decreasing overnight. Relative
humidity values will bottom out in the 15 to 20 percent range 
this afternoon. Breezy winds and dry conditions will continue on 
Thursday.
