.DISCUSSION...

Critical fire weather conditions are expected today due to low 
relative humidities and gusty winds. Winds will be from the 
northwest this morning before shifting to the west-northwest with 
a cold front passage between 1100-1200 hours. Winds will increase 
through the afternoon, peaking between 1800-2200 hours with gusts 
25 to 30 mph. Winds will then shift to the north-northwest and 
gradually decrease overnight. Relative humidity values will bottom
out in the 17 to 22 percent range this afternoon. Breezy winds 
and dry conditions will continue on Thursday.
