...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 645 AM CDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of central Oklahoma, including the following 
  county, Oklahoma.

* WHEN...Until 645 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 441 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain
    has fallen.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Oklahoma City, southern Edmond, Midwest City, Del City,
    Bethany, Choctaw, Warr Acres, The Village, Harrah, Spencer,
    Nichols Hills, Jones, Nicoma Park, Valley Brook, Tinker Air
    Force Base, Forest Park, Woodlawn Park, Lake Aluma and Smith
    Village.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.
