Showers and thunderstorms will impact the fire site through this evening. Gusty outflow winds near 50 mph may accompany any thunderstorms that move overhead. Temperatures will cool from highs near 90 into the 80s as outflow cooled air moves across the site. Overall, winds will likely be erratic and variable this afternoon given the number of outflow boundaries across the region. Timing will be the primary concern with any of the boundaries. Showers and thunderstorms will dissipate this evening, with quiet conditions overnight. Humidity recoveries will be in the mid 50 percent range by morning. Another round of afternoon showers and thunderstorms is forecast for Thursday.
