Gusty south to southwest winds will pick up at the site around 11 AM to noon with gusts up to 50 mph spreading in around or shortly after noon. Humidity levels will quickly drop once the southerly winds kick in with critical to extreme fire weather conditions expected. Areas of blowing dust reducing visibility to under a mile will also be a concern through the afternoon. The cold front will push back into the area between 7 PM to 8 PM, and given its farther south proximity this time, it could err on the earlier side of this timeframe. North winds could gust up to 40 mph before decreasing but north winds will remain elevated through much of the night. Good humidity recovery is expected behind the front tonight.
