...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN DODDRIDGE AND
NORTHERN HARRISON COUNTIES THROUGH 630 PM EDT...

At 554 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Salem, or 13 miles northwest of Clarksburg, moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Clarksburg, Bridgeport, Shinnston, Stonewood, Nutter Fort, Salem,
Lumberport, Anmoore, Enterprise, Grangeville, Wolf Summit, Wallace,
Center Point, Sedalia, Meadowbrook, and Despard.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 79 between mile markers 118 and 124.
 Route 50 in West Virginia between mile markers 62 and 82.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
