...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL MASON...NORTHERN PUTNAM
AND CENTRAL JACKSON COUNTIES THROUGH 245 PM EDT...

At 217 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Buffalo, or 12 miles southeast of Gallipolis, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Ripley, Ravenswood, Buffalo, Kenna, Leon, Mount Alto, Statts Mills,
Given, Southside, Kentuck, Ashton, Cottageville, Grimms Landing,
Evans, Fraziers Bottom, Fairplain, and Liberty.

This includes Interstate 77 in West Virginia between mile markers 121
and 149.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for
southeastern Ohio...and western and northwestern West Virginia.
