...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN POCAHONTAS COUNTY
THROUGH 545 PM EDT...

At 516 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Marlinton, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Marlinton, Hillsboro, Edray, Buckeye, Dunmore, Cranberry Mountain
Nature Center, Minnehaha Springs, and Frost.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
