GALLIA...WEST CENTRAL WASHINGTON...NORTHEASTERN JACKSON...
SOUTHEASTERN VINTON AND ATHENS COUNTIES THROUGH 600 PM EDT...

At 525 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Albany to near Wellston. Movement was east
at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Athens, Jackson, Wellston, Pomeroy, Albany, Rutland, Middleport,
Chauncey, Vinton, Amesville, Wilkesville, Radcliffe, Stroud Run State
Park, Dyesville, Darwin, Salem Center, Harrisonville, Dexter, Kyger,
and Carpenter.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for
southeastern Ohio...and western West Virginia.
