Very warm and humid conditions are expected to continue across the area through the weekend, largely keeping minimum RH values above 45%. Slightly drier air today preceding a warm front passage may allow some ridge tops to reach around 40%, but southwesterly winds of 5-10 mph would keep any fire weather threat low. Following the warm front passage around 6-9 PM tonight, winds will shift southerly and bring in greater moisture through the weekend. During the rest of that period, daytime winds will peak at 10-15 mph with gusts up to 20 mph at times. Additionally, periods of showers and thunderstorms are expected to occur in intervals through the weekend. The first round is a 30-50% chance of light rain showers Thursday morning into early afternoon as a decaying thunderstorm complex moves through.
