...AN AREA OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN
NACOGDOCHES...ANGELINA AND SOUTHERN SAN AUGUSTINE COUNTIES UNTIL 530
PM CDT...

At 446 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking an area of strong
thunderstorms extending from near Hudson to 14 miles south of Macune,
or extending from 7 miles west of Lufkin to 32 miles east of Lufkin,
moving northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
  Lufkin, Diboll, Hudson, Huntington, Etoile, Woden, Macune, Pollok,
  Burke, Zavalla, Broaddus, Shawnee, Homer, Dolan, Redland, Clawson,
  Central and Chinaquapin.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
